Competing at the highest level in global FX

15 January 2009 marks the opening of the Euromoney FX Poll, widely recognised as the industry benchmark for FX. Having established a top five position over the last three years, we need to maintain our place in this top group and compete at the highest level. Only you can make it happen.

Over recent years, we have made huge progress and consistently now claim a top five position in the overall poll. This is a reflection of the great FX franchise we have built and our dedication and engagement in this survey. Now, by improving RBS votes and mobilising all ABN AMRO clients, we should be able to achieve our goal of competing at the very highest level.

As we continue to build our business globally, we must keep sight of our goals and this campaign in particular.  Demonstrating our strength in FX to our clients and the market remains of utmost importance. I ask your full support in this matter.

Everyone is accountable for their piece in this campaign.

Thank you,

Recognition of our global franchise. Awards that demonstrate our pursuit of innovation.

RBS features as one of the strongest FX franchises in the market, evidenced by the many awards we have received. In addition we are consistently recognised for our leadership, as voted for by our corporate and institutional client base.

The added ABN AMRO client base means we now have a truly global franchise, which we will need to capitalise on to achieve our objectives in this poll.
